The tools I use when doing my tasks for University
Hello everyone, so today i'm going to talk about the tools i use while doing my task at university. I'm currently on my third semestrer studying architecture and the tools that i'm currently using are common drawing tools such as a HB pencil and a sketchbook, for sketching or designing a proyect, a ruler and fineliners to make more precise and clean drawings and also Photoshop, to edit some projeccts. Other tools that I use are architectural drawings such as sections or floor plans, and also a drawing technique called croquis. This tools are helpful for communicate ideas, to show things that a picture can't or highlight important details about a project
The only tool that i was familiar with was sketching, since i've been drawing for quite a long time. As for the rest of the tools, i've been learning to use them during my time on the carrier. The easiest ones for me to learn were the croquis and arquitectetural drawings, since croquis is a simple drawing that highlights important things or information about something and architectural drawings were pretty straightfoward. However, Photoshop was a bit tricky to learn, because of all the functions that it has and things that aren't obvious the first time you use it. I still have some features left to learn, but i can work with what i know.
Speaking of things that i have yet to learn, I have to learn how to use programs like Ilustrator and Autocad, which aren't a requirement at the moment, but will probably be important tools to work with in future semesters.
So that's it for today's blog, have a nice day!
Hi, Jose, I'm the same as you, the sketch was always the tool I used but the digital programs are more complex, I hope that little by little we will learn more along with the career.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it is also easier to convey ideas through sketches or drawings, I hope you will soon learn about those programs
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you know how to draw croquis, I find it too difficult.
